Submit an Object
 
The IDobject is continually searching for new photos and/or video clips of unusual known objects. If you have access to photos and/or video clips not present or show a different view of an object already presented, use the guidelines below to send the file(s) for consideration.
 

File Naming:

Included file(s) should be named using a short descriptive name of the object contained within the file(s). Multiple files should be numbered to help distinguish the files (ie. Full Moon 1.jpeg, Full Moon 2.jpeg, Full Moon 3.mpeg).

 
Photos:

High resolution format is preferred. When editing or enhancing a photo can provide some detail used to determine the nature of the object, provide both the original photo and the edited and/or enhanced version of the photo.

 

Videos:

High resolution format is preferred. The video clip may be edited to trim the beginning and ending excessive footage Keep in mind visitors to the IDobject will need to download and play the video. Keep it short and to the point.

 

Description:

A short description of what is being viewed in the photo or video should be provided. When multiple files are submitted, provide descriptions for each file including the file name the description applies to. This may include such things as weather conditions, visibility, terrain, location, direction of sighting from observer, direction of sun or moon from observer, season, date, time of day, sunrise, sunset, moonrise, camera, camera settings, camera lens magnification, etc. and/or any other information that may also be useful. Keep in mind that this information is being used to assist UFO field investigator and the general public when considering normal objects as the potential source of the observed object. Try to keep it clear, simple, and to the point.

 
Tools and Links to Tools:
If you have any tools that may be useful to the UFO field investigator, researcher, or general public to assist in investigating, identifying, reporting, etc. an object, we welcome this information. If you have an idea for a tool but do not know how to develop it, we would like to hear about it and perhaps be able to develop it for use on this site. If you know of any links to tools that may be useful in investigating, identifying, reporting, etc. we would like to hear about them. Our links are mainly used as a source for tools. We will not link to other UFO related websites. You can use a search engine to find UFO sites.
