Light

Light refers to electromagnetic radiation of all wavelengths. Light, within the visible spectrum, is that light which is detectable by the human eye. In ancient times, humans used fire as a heat and light source. In modern times, humans have combined energy, optics, chemical reactions, and other physical properties to produce light for a variety of purposes. Objects as simple as a street light have, momentarily, been confused for an unknown object under certain weather related conditions. A witness should consider their environment when observing an unknown lighted object. The distant light of a known object may be visible during winter months when the normal foliage of the area has fallen from the trees. In mountainous and hilly areas, vehicle lights, both on-road and off-road, may be seen for miles.

This lighthouse is designed as a group flashing light. The light will pulse, at a rate of 1 second on and 1 second off, for 3 cycles, remain off for 5 seconds, and then repeat the entire cycle. This clip loops after the 2nd set of 3 cycles giving the illusion of 6 pulses rather than 3. Watch the radio antenna to see if you can catch the loop.

The beautiful sunset creates an interesting lens flare effect.
